ABOUT MINDS IN MOTION
Our Story
Our Story
Minds in Motion was founded in 2023 with a belief that continues to guide everything we do: a learner’s ability should never be defined by how well they fit into a single way of learning.
Too many children are expected to perform within educational environments that are not equipped to provide the individual support they need. When they struggle to meet those expectations, it can affect far more than their academic progress. They can begin to lose confidence in themselves and what they believe they are capable of achieving.
Minds in Motion was created to help bridge that gap.
By providing individualised support, smaller learning environments and an approach that recognises the learner before the result, we aim to give children the opportunity to experience progress, rebuild confidence and recognise their own potential.
Because sometimes, a learner doesn’t need to be capable of more. They simply need to be supported differently.

FAQ
Common questions from parents
How do your fees work?
Our fees are structured according to the individual needs of each learner and family. We offer flexible attendance options, which means fees may vary depending on the level of support and attendance required. Please contact us via email or phone for more information and a fee structure suited to your needs.
What ages do you accommodate?
We do not follow strict age requirements. Our focus is on learners working towards primary education outcomes across the Foundation and Intermediate Phases. Most of our learners are between the ages of 5 and 14, with placement and support guided by each learner’s developmental and academic needs rather than age alone.
How many learners are in each classroom?
Class sizes are determined by the individual support needs of the learners within each group. Learners requiring higher levels of support are placed in smaller groups to ensure they receive the attention they need. Our teacher to learner ratio will never exceed 1:5, regardless of learners’ abilities or support needs.
What is your teaching approach?
Our teaching approach is individualised and responsive to each learner. Teaching methods, pace and levels of support are continuously reviewed and adapted according to the learner’s individual needs, progress and areas of difficulty. This allows us to meet learners where they are while supporting meaningful and sustainable progress.
